Nope. Supposedly interesting things they do with tubing profiles and whatnot, but a head-scratcher why they chose BB86 as a bottom bracket.

Question asked, question answered. Their down tubes are shaped very flat and wide towards the bottom bracket. Going to a wider BB-86 gives them more room to work the tubing profile there.

I have the X3. Superb bike. Just superb. I sell my bikes with a year or two of turnover. But the X3 is a keeper.
But while T-Lab people are really good people, there was lots of problems in the custom process. After getting an "incorrect" bike after months and months of waiting. They then sent the correct bike after another round of months and months of waiting. But the bike itself -- WOW! Just amazing. And I say this as someone who has owned a few nice bikes. |

I had the opportunity to ride one and came away pretty impressed. Very smooth ride with good power transfer. Lightweight and nice to look at as well.

Yeah been communicating with Roberto, and they are offering me a nice deal and he says 8 weeks( not a custom) for a complete, but I am skeptical it would be that soon.
Thanks all |

yah...i got a nice "deal" too. but it was not the "deal" that lured me to T-Lab. It was their tubing shapes.
Be sure to ask for a work order that details every detail of the frame they are building for you. |

I purchased a T-Lab X3 in spring of 2020. The buying experience was just OK. Communication was a bit inconsistent depending on who I was being passed off to in the process. Their paint job, at least with my bike, looks great but has proven to be pretty fragile. If I could do it over, I'd probably just stick to a brushed finish. If you swap wheels and find you need to adjust the calipers due to rotor rub, the design of the rear mount makes it a bit more of a PIA to adjust. With those things said, the bike rides great both on and off road. It corners and descends just really really well, which for me, has been the most noticeable aspect of the ride. No issues so far with the BB86.

Nice!
Yeah the communication isn't too good. Not sure I want to send 50% of the cost right now. |

Being that you are in Colorado, I would encourage you to talk to Ryan at Alchemy (in Denver). I bought a Chiron from them last spring and it was a great experience.

The rear brake mount on the X3 is a PIA. And I don't think you can run a 160mm rotor if you wanted to. No room for the adapter
