ROAD ID - Great Customer Service!

Just a positive vibes note:

I've had a Road ID dogtag, which i wear 24x7x365 for about 10 years now. literally never ever take it off. shower, beach, ocean, gym, whatever, just something that stays on.

the chain finally broke this week. didnt see the chain on their site, so called today and they insisted on sending a new one free, no charge.

i wanted to pay for it since anything that survives that long in continuous serice is pretty damned good.

so i bought a t-shirt so at least they are not shipping it on their dime

a real person answered the phone too, no teleprompter.

now that's A+ customer service. I am a supporter.

Just bought a new bracelet from them. Lost my old one, maybe I should have mentioned that when I bought my new one! Seems like a cool company. I like their we don't take ourselves too seriously website attitude. Glad you had a good experience, and that is excellent customer service.

They sent me an e-mail a while after I had bought my bracelet, stating that the old clasp design was faulty and were replacing if needed. I was having trouble with mine. Replaced free of charge as I recall. No issues since.

Got mine after a buddy took an unplanned helicopter ride. We were riding together, but separated a bit after a down hill. I went back up to find him. Thankfully a forest ranger was already there and help had been called.

I never ride without mine.

I wear mine 24x7x365 as well. Easier than remembering to put it on.

Actually, I have two, the dogtag on the chain and a second on a LiveStrong wristband, which I've worn continuously since they first came out in 2004.

And yes, RoadID is a pretty cool company. They donated swag and gift certificates for auction/fundraising at several of our PMC Kid's Rides (Sandwich).

Agree

I have had a RoadID for many years luckily not used. I really like that an EMT can get my medical info when they call it in. RoadID is local to me and are active in the Cinti cycling community.
