Now, I'm sure that wasn't the conscious implication of the person who posted "Margot Robbie", but if our society is going to evolve to the point where our daughters, sisters, partners, and mothers don't have to spend their entire lives fearing being r@ped, we need to root this crap out, speak up and speak out to those who are unconscious of the implications of what they are saying, and stop thinking it's funny, innocuous, or okay to make those kinds of statements.

If you need to have a wank in private to express that lust, you do you - but in a public forum, that stuff needs to be called out for what it is and questioned.

And I for one am thankful for R3awak3n and others for doing so. I'm just filling in the gaps here.

I'll happily delete this post if the one that spawned it was deleted, and we can get back to objectifying objects and experiences - new, old, and vintage.

Over the last few years, we have been on a quest to achieve financial independence and retire early, and I have noticed that I don't list after "things" as much anymore, but more about experiences. I know, I know, it sounds very cliche :-)

Anyways, my lust these days is to be able to spend summers in a small-ish town in Europe (we really like Utrecht, NL) and take advantage of the lifestyle / cycling opportunities.

That said, I still haven't had a chance to try a pair of Lightweight carbon wheels, so I guess that is my current object of lust :-)
