Nice!
While I haven't painted any shoes per-say, I do know that Angelus makes a product for this! https://www.amazon.com/Angelus-Glitt.../dp/B00B8ZLIZC |

it's best to use leather/fabric paints. With a light spray you did, that may hold on but it will crack and flake off as you wipe them/clean them/etc
Love my Empire SLX's too, they are my fav shoes |

My question is how do you do 10 000 miles and have your shoes still look so good?
I've got 4000 on a pair of shoes (another brand but still) and they are in rough shape I may get another season out of them. |

I've done two rides since painting them, and so far so good.

Those look awesome. Now I really, really want to do this. Maybe I'll look at that shoe paint on Amazon for a weekend project...

There is a good video if you want to do a simple weekend job
prep is the most important step acetone (nail polish remover-is cheap and avail anywhere) masking tape brushes or airbrush https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bo_s_TPKCuI&t=301s |

Reviving this thread for purposes of asking how the paint held up over a year of use? Any lessons learned, long-term recommendations?
