Hunt wheels - sharp bead?

Just got some Hunt wheels - 4 season gravel (aluminum rims)
They're hooked, which I wanted.
The inner edge of the hook/bead is kind of sharp, like when you cut sheet metal and don't file the edges. Pretty sure I could cut my finger if I ran one along the bead. I'm thinking it could eventually cut the tire.
Anybody else notice this?

I guess I could run a file or sandpaper along the edge but... WTH?
