It'll be interesting to see what's next for Kirk. And I hope Pacenti will continue making their line of alloy rims. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if they were going to focus exclusively on carbon going forward.

Does that mean there will be a run on Brevet rims by all those who stash them for a rainy day?..

I've certainly considered it. But then I realized that I already have a pair of SL-23s stashed away

Curious that Kirk didnt write the farewell message.
IME thatd mean someone was asked to leave, pure speculation thought  Hope he continues to have success either way. |

Whoever did [write the email] should have chosen the correct 'reins'

Kirk,
I think it's time to bring out that "open source" free hub body. It's been seven years since that Bike Rumor article came out. I've been waiting patiently.

I thought the freehub was a great idea as well. SunRace, FSA?

The dies made to stamp out cogs produce about 80 pcs per cycle (depending on cog size); that's a huge tool. Multiply it by 12+ cog sizes, and tooling costs get very high... |

I noticed that too. I'm glad I'm not the only pedant.
