Photos from your rides

A bit frosty for the 2 wheeler this am in these parts so a stroll-a-bout was the choice. The goofball Geese were a comedy show as they came in for a landing on the iced over pond..., the other dude quietly waited for the sun to gain the ridge and warm up and stretch out his wings. Nice stroll, hoping temps climb just a bit over the weekend.

Two hours was all I could manage today - 32-35deg, misty-sleety rain for a bit, then dry...

Whoa...2 hrs?!? Then you did better than me. I only lasted...45 minutes/6 miles, which was more than enough for me.

It was wet and cold, temp. 42 degrees.

The backstory:
I chicken out of a gravel ride at San Saba this morning, decided to stay at home, took a nap, waited till around noon before I headed outside, was still drizzling. Won't exactly call it a ride...more like doing product testing for my bad-weather gear. This would have been my setup if I had gone to that gravel ride. My son took a picture of me at the front door when I got home. It was the "shortest" ride he has ever seen me done.

New tire day

Was ridiculed by ā€œFat tireā€ pub crawl for being ā€œroadieā€......won hearts over by proving 700x35 ainā€™t so skinny.....was awarded a Pabst....tasted delicious, even if it was 10am

A very mixed experience this weekend.
Saturday, a beautiful cool clear trip up to snow-capped Mt. Baldy.
Sunday, my first time into the heart of the fire zone, devastating.

^Thanks^

The first is in Depew Park.

The second is the closed section of Montrose Station Road running through Blue Mountain.
