Roval (DT Swiss) Hub Question (QR->TA->Boost)

I am looking at a pair of Roval Control Alloy 29 wheels that is being offered locally. The price is right and it is in QR set up already, which is what I am looking for.

The wheels came from the 2012 Stumpjumper Expert HT. The hubs were made by DT Swiss apparently.

Question is if these wheels can be converted to TA/Boost with conversion kits?

I will get the wheels regardless since it fit my application. This is just more of a curiosity for future compatibility.

TA, yes, DT stuff is good with that. Boost, probably, if the rotors are 6-bolt, wheels will need to be re-dished.

Re-dished for Boost, not TA?

yes, TA no re-dish required, but going to boost shifts the wheel center in the frame.

If you convert to boost by changing endcaps then you will need to move the rotor or caliper somehow. There are a couple kits out there.

Thanks for the help with my question. Learned quite a bit.

I picked up the wheels this afternoon and installed them. Although they are 8 years old, they are a significant upgrade from the stock wheels.
