Goodyear tires in Giro d'Italia
Team Qhubeka Assos will be riding Goodyear tires on their BMC bikes in the Giro. Good to see Goodyear's commitment. What are experiences here with their tires?
Update, info from Goodyear's website: "Goodyear bicycle tires are produced and distributed under a license agreement with Rubber Kinetics, LLC.....Goodyear is establishing itself as a leading brand within the global bicycle tire segment through licensing collaboration with Rubber Kinetics, specialists in performance cycling tires." I have no experience, but I have heard rave reviews from folks who have used the Eagle F1. Apparently they seat nicely tubeless.

When they announced the venture a few years back, Goodyear stated that they were licensing their name and selling their casings and compounds, as the tires were to be made by an unnamed manufacturer in Taiwan for the licensee. Lots of middlemen.

Had a set of regular clincher F1 Eagle Supersports. Liked them a lot. Wore a bit fast but that's also their pointy end race tire, so no complaints from me.
Would use again. |

I tried them also. they were OK, but not exceptional in any way IMO. definitely not good in the wet.

I used a set of Goodyear Vector 4Seasons this winter. Seated beautifully with just a track pump (as claimed) and had no issues with the grip, ride quality, etc.
