Many smaller headset spacers not as good as fewer large spacers?

I chose a taller 30mm headset top cover from omni-racer rather than the stock cover and a 15mm spacer. I only did that to preserve resale value. Instead of a -17 stem. I could have slammed it with a -6.

Omni-racer sells tall spacers from 25 to 60mm.
