Marin Headlands. Spectacular and nearby. If it's drippy foggy you may have to change your plan.

Agree with the two prior posts. Either Mt Tam via RRG or the “Sisters” on the road. Second would be the Headlands. Santa Cruz gets a lot of love, but I’ve never cycled there.

One thing to remember: you’ll probably have to cycle across the GGB, at least with the Headlands. I personally loathe cycling across the bridge. Stuck between knuckleheads trying to make a Strava PR and knuckleheads consulting their maps. (Hint: you’re still on the bridge)
