Took home this well-loved RB-1 frameset today, and started the build.

Going to have Sim-Works Getaround bars and a mismash Shimano 10 speed drivetrain. CX series cranks, Dura-Ace barcons + Paul Thumbies, XT cassette, XT (8-speed) derailleurs, Dura-Ace (9-speed) brakes.

The wheels will probably be replaced with some silver high spoke Ultegra/105/DA > Mavic or something whenever I find a deal.

Strada Biancas clear the frame, we'll see what happens when I get the brakes installed.

Ugh, I've got a new DA9150 upgrade kit sitting in a box for the last month or so because I haven't had the opportunity to get it installed on my bike yet.

It's killing me. Maybe this weekend, but as of now, it's not looking so good.

Today I ordered a Dura Ace 7700 f&r derailleur set on eBay - and an FSA chain, to replace my rear der and chain that was destroyed yesterday on a long ride when the chain hopped off the front chain ring during a shift, and got sucked into the rear wheel.

I took a short "road trip" and picked up these two bikes for $140.
My first recumbent, and I'm loving it. Car drivers even love it (by comparison they must hate roadies).
I can drive this thing to the casino and hog down on their buffet, then drive back without any stomach stress. A hilly ride at that!
And arriving at a red light, I can relax like I'm at home on the couch!
It's a bit like riding my HD 1200S.

Spend a day or two on one of these. I joke with my riding buddies that I might never ride a "wedgie" bike again!

Is that a Metroprix? Nice bikes, had one of those about 6 years ago for my girlfriend. At the time, we were really psyched to find a crmo mixte frameset with cantis and rack mounts. Wish they made them in sizes other than 49cm!

Very cool Luck shoes! Would you please post a review when you have a chance.
I'm particularly interested to know if they have a width and heigh toe box and if they run true to size. I currently ride Shimano R321 and find the toe box to be perfect.
Thanks,
quattro
