MvdP dropped on the cobbles--so there go my chances. Who'da thunk it?

Sagan dropped, too, but he crashed.

And now Vingegaard flats out of the lead group. Disastrous day for me so far.

Crazy day

Was really hoping someone could put pogacar in a little trouble so it’s not a runaway this year but he just showed why he’s been the best for a few years now.

Jumbo didn’t have as bad a day as they could have, for a little while it looked like complete disaster, but Roglic continued to have bad luck. He can’t catch a break. I feel like if everything g went right he’d have a shot at pogacar but with issues like today there is no way

I sneaked into the top 10. Must be about time for UCI/WADA/gendarmes to raid my hotel room and check my team car, especially since I ride Ti and steel.

It's probably not worth their time, though, as this won't likely last long.

I'm resting comfortably in the middle of the pack and expect to continue to do so. Even so, I'm pleased with how my team has performed. MvdP is my lowest scoring guy! Ah, what might have been.

I second guessed myself to a lot of poor decisions.

I originally picked WvA, but then took him off when I read he would be working for the team more.

I originally picked Bob Jungels, but then swapped him for Kasper Asgreen when Jungels got covid and it was uncertain if he'd start. Then Jungels wins a stage and Asgreen leaves early with covid.

I originally picked Gaudu, but then swapped him for Pinot, thinking Pinot might be more likely to get a breakaway mountain win, vs a top 10 GC.

My biggest disappointment of a pick where I was just flat out wrong was Mohoric. What's up with him. Had two wins in the tour last year, strong win at MSR this year. I figured he'd at least be in contention on a lot of breakaway stages, but he's been nearly invisible this year.

I went from third to sixth today. Didn't expect that. It's now very crowded in the 7500-8000 range. The winner looks to be a foregone conclusion, barring some covid exits which would wreak havoc on everyone in our virtual peloton.

Chapeau a Team 804, le meilleur!

Congrats to Team804, dominant performance. I was very pleased to scrape into the top 5. I owe it all to Christophe LaPorte. Enjoyed the league, thanks.

Team 804, DM me with your address and I'll ship you the winner's "high-value" schwag of some sort.

On to La Vuelta!
