Are you recommending the Speed King Race? Those are semi-slicks (with a fish-scale-like pattern).

Probably the only thing you're missing is that 26" is a dying wheel size. We make do with what we can find. I know of no semi-knobby 26" tire other than that Conti Speed king. If you're looking for a gravel tire, Gravel kings are likely the best bet.
