Tommasini

I recently visited a very quaint and interesting bicycle shop near Lambertville, NJ: Wheelfine. What mostly caught my attention was the number of Tommasini frames they had, and the strong sales pitch for the brand. Moreover, I was told that Tommasini builds in-house a great titanium frame.

Even though I have been around bicycles for decades, the name Tommasini hardly rings a bell, and in any case that bell is of a mediocre, small, run-of-the-mill builder. Please set me straight. What are your impressions and experiences with Tommasini.

Thank you so much.

Their classic steel bikes are some of the most beautiful....and still made in Italy, I believe.

My first 'real' bike was my dad's old Tommasini. I haven't seen any of their newer frames, but I've always liked this bike.

Tommasini’s are fantastic bicycles, mine was every bit as good as my Cinelli’s, Merckx, or De Rosa’s.
