Our two most recent rescue Brittanys, Cider on the left, Bella on the right. Sadly Cider passed away peacefully a few weeks ago just before his 15th birthday. He came to us at age 9 when his former owner deemed him not worthy of keeping and tried to put him down and he became a member or our household. Bella is almost 15, still active, but slowing. She came to us at 9 months when her previous owner tried to put her down for having Parvo. She recovered and has been with us ever since. We have had four other rescue Brittanys and scores of foster dogs. Among the more memorable ones is a pup that we named Lance and his comeback from heart surgery that he had only a slim chance of surviving. He was eventually adopted into a home where he lived up to his name, but he thrived. Dogs, what a wonderful enhancement to life......

We’ve had our rescue for 5 years. Don’t know what she is but she’s got a ton of personality.

This is my old guy - 14 this year, can still put on a turn of speed if needed but spends most of his time asleep on the bed whilst I’m on video calls.

The "golden boy" Seamus is no longer with me, his best girl Sacha is still a young one. I was unable to upload image of our black standard poodle who is a 18 months old, image too large.

Max

Max was a rebound rescue, we adopted him after we lost our 13 year old yellow lab. He might not be as sporting as his predecessor, but he makes us laugh every day. They told us at the pound he was mostly a Pomeranian. The way he begs, I tell people he's a Belgian Waffler. I wish he'd look at me once the way he's looking at my son's hamburger.

We rescued Copper about a year and a half ago. We was thrown from a moving vehicle in a rural county, then taken to a shelter by a passerby. Best dog ever.
