Last Sunday in the Adirondacks . . .

. . . with HilltopperNY, CNYRider, and another friend up to and around Piseco Lake. Perfect day of blue skies, gentle breezes, and the beginnings of fall color.

And this past Monday . . .

. . . with CNYRider out of Poultney, VT. Another perfect day of blue skies, deep forest, and great gravel riding. He was on his newly built up No22 Drifter and I'm on my Lynskey ProGR. Since this ride I've gotten my Absolute Black front rings installed for a low gear of 30-34. I'm just achin' to go climb some trees in the 'Dacks this Saturday!

Picked up this screw only a few miles from my house. Pulled the screw out, stuck in a Dynaplug, added a bit of air, and continued my ride.

That first pic, easy to miss those petros, hiding in plain sight. Love that place.

Some great riding this week.
First a fun day in the Adirondacks with Hilltopper and BBDave.
Those photos are too gory for a family website I'm afraid.
Then the next day Poultney Vermont with BBDave. (Left).
This area definitely bears more exploration, with fantastic gravel riding all around it:

And then Friday, off to grandmas house we went . This was a nice section of the bike path along the Mohawk River near Amsterdam NY.
For riding long distances on pavement I don't think you can improve on old school steel, Brooks, and Campy 10 speed.
