Hunt rebranded Bitex 312 hubs?

Can anyone confirm if HUNT Sprint SL hubs are rebadged Bitex 312 hubs?

They sure do look similar. Asking in part because I'm considering a two wheelset situation. Matching hubs with different rims seems ideal for that kind of set up.

I asked my daughter who works there and she doesn't think so. Maybe not as definitive as you'd like.

EDIT: On second glance, it appears they aren't the novatec off the shelf offerings, but they're definitely not the Bitex either as the freehub mechanism looks different. Maybe they're made by either Novatec or Bitex for Hunt specifically.

I bet that in the past, Hunt just bought and rebranded Bitex or Novatec's hubs. I think the Nerd Alert podcast discussed that more recently, Hunt was using its own designs - which does mean that they get a third party, quite possibly Bitex or Novatec, to make the hub for them.

Nice catch. Looks like the Bitex is 6 pawl, while the Hunt is 3 pawl.

Thanks for help figuring that out y'all.
