So I bought a thing

Early 90's Bruce Gordon repainted by spectrum in the late 90's and stored in a box ever since. It came with two sets of wheels, racks painted to match the frame, and a full set of Robert Beckman Panniers w/rain covers.

Please love on my humble brag

Now you need a set of flat bars to make it complete.

Nice

yes!

That's totally wicked. And you have my fave rims, the MA40s. Built my first wheels with a pair of those, ordered from Nashbar in the early 90s, built them in my parents' basement. Gorgeous green too! Looks like a smooth adventure bike.

Love this!! Those rims are so perfect.

I’m working on something right now in the same general direction:

When the new tires get here from BG I’ll start with fenders and racks

That's a very nice frame and paint job. I have a Bruce Gordon BLT. You should update some of the components, especially that low end seatpost. I've changed out everything on my bike except for the derailleurs.

How are those V-brakes working with those levers? Tektro and Cane Creek make V-brake specific levers. I've got them on my bike and they work very well.
