Gummi Bears
I spent some of my formative years as a youngster in Belgium (Air Force Brat at SHAPE) and Gummi Bears are our favorites from travelling through Europe for various events for my brothers who were in high school (XC, Track, etc.) Never had a car ride without Gummis and to this day they are a favorite of the family and take us back.
Excited to see we may soon have more availability in the US moving forward.

Foxconn has recently (finally) admitted they won't be building that factory afterall, but no word on returning those billions in tax credits they got!

Yes, Foxconn is a fiasco. I think we can expect more from German candy makers

That area of WI, Pleasant Prairie, has gone crazy. When I used to live in Gurnee there was nothing up there, just great roads to ride on and the outlet mall...

I had to order these directly from Germany to get the real ones with cane sugar, instead of high-fructose corn syrup.

I found some w/cane sugar at a local chain grocer, just don't recall which one. I haven't seen anything indicating what specific products will be produced in this facility.

I was under the impression that the ones found in Lidl (and perhaps certain Aldi's) are made in the EU. Somehow faintly remember finding Haribo that was manufactured in a former Easter Bloc country, perhaps the Czech Republic?
That said, holy s*** about the sugar free ones. Yikes! |
