My goal going into the winter and toward 2021 is:

- Do more mountain biking and learn how to do an Endo 180, which seems impossible to be at the moment since I will be hitting 50 next year.

- Maintain the weight loss I achieved from the Paceline Challenge. I have lost a good chunk since New year but gained a few lbs back. Need to be more vigilant.

- Go back to the trainer and do another zwift FTP Builder program. Hopefully improve my FTP by 20% by next Spring.

- Start Yoga and body weight exercises.

My goal is to maintain the fitness I've built from riding more due to pandemic and WFH. I'm at 1/3 over my mileage goal for the year (was 3,660, at 4,823) and would now like to reach 5,500 for 2020.

Also need to get back to stretching my aged bod, and do the exercises that will make this torn shoulder tendon issue go away.

My goal the last 3-4 years has been a 5 Watt/kg FTP. I've come somewhat close at 4.54 coming into this winter. I plan to maintain my current fitness and dedicated 16 weeks of TrainerRoad and Zwift races after the new year to hit 5W/kg leading into next season with a combination of training and diet. 350w @ 70kg

I’m just riding for enjoyment. I want to stay motivated to ride during the winter at least a couple times a week which is hard for me without a bike commute. I’d like to do a tour or two if possible, and go mountain biking. The idea of a mass start race sounds like a germ fest to me and I’m not sure when I’ll ever be comfortable with it again.

No spin classes this winter so back to the pain cave but with new equipment.....retiring the Computrainer.

Still deciding if I'm going to go to the gym to do heavy leg weights on equipment I don't have in my workout room or changing the leg strength workouts to suit what I have. Most likely the later with special focus on working one leg then the other to achieve better balance.

Cycling specific '21, plan on exploring country roads further away from casa zap.

I'm currently of a split mind. On one hand, I'm tempted to push myself endurance-wide with a double century (haven't done one before) and some longer gravel rides. On the other hand, I kind of have the itch to get back into road racing (haven't raced since 2015). These ambitions are probably mutually exclusive, and probably depend on which events are or are not cancelled for 2021.

1) Be a better Father.
2) Be a better Partner.
3) Work on my friendships.
4) Quit chasing metal tubing as a conduit to inner contentment.

Hoping to do some organized events. Mtb races, maybe a century or two. Had a bunch of weekends off this past season to do just that and we all know what happened there. Play some hockey this winter, lift, ride the trainer, and run the steps. Hoping not to gain much weight!!

Now that’s a goal

I would love to be at 3W/KG

Go for it

I will be retiring in 3 weeks so there will be no excuses not to be out on the bike alot more. I will be looking at getting a gravel bike for both my wife and myself and explore some new areas. More kayaking and hiking too!

I don't set riding goals since I want to focus on the enjoyment of the experience above all.

That said, in August I noticed that I had surpassed half a million feet of climbing for the year, thought through what it would take to hit a million and realized it wasn't in the cards. So in 2021 that's my lone goal.

I was supposed to do some gravel riding in Kyrgyzstan with buddies summer 2020. This has been tentatively pushed back to 2021. While I am skeptical it will happen, the goal is to beat at least one of them up a big hill if we get there.
