You can access it thru Roku. I do it thru hulu simply because you can then use their digital dvr thingie. Max doesn't have its own dvr service, and the sports stuff doesn't seem to be available for post streaming. That's one of the nice things about Peacock, they leave stuff available for post streaming.

Yep, hadn't thought to do that. Thanks

Side note, This is impressive:

What languages does Orla Chennaoui speak?
She also recently passed her ARDA National B racing licence test and is now a qualified racing driver. Orla is multilingual and has presented fluently in French and German. She also speaks Portuguese, Spanish and Italian making her a dream to work with in multicultural filming situations.

Wait. Max does or doesn't have event replays available?

After I watched Stage 1 via a search for UAE, I noticed it popped up in a 'replays' section once you went into BR Sports top menu choice. I don't know if it just took a while to be in the Replays section, it was not there previously...

Yep, there are replays as I eventually found out through the suggestion to search. I do now see they have a row named replays so things are improving.

Max & Bleacher Report?

I'm going to dredge this up rather than start a new thread.

I have a Flobikes subscription - it is what it is. The Flobikes web page said that they'd broadcast Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne today. But when I tried to watch I got the dreaded out of region message.

I looked on their web site but see no mention of which regions various races are available to view, which didn't help my mood.

So I'm looking into the Max/Bleacher/whatever thing.

My understanding (which may be wrong, hence my post), is that I need to get Max with the Bleacher Report add on, and that there are various tiers depending how how many ads I think that I can tolerate, which is pretty much zero - I shake my fist at the ad clouds!

On an annual basis, Max ranges from $100USD to $200USD, but I'm not sure about Bleacher. Or is Bleacher automatically included? When the whole GCN+ thing went south I briefly looked into this and thought that I needed two subscriptions, Max + Bleacher add on, but either I'm wrong or they've changed the packaging.

Do I need to subscribe to both ad-free services, or just the basic Max and then ad-free Bleacher Report?

Help a lugged steel rim brake guy out, will ya?

Thanks.

Reuben who is your cable provider? Some of them give you max if you are subscribed to the service

I don't have cable. I use Comcast/Xfinity internet, and stream it via wifi to a device attached to the TV. I could buy a cable package, but that seems to be more expensive/wasteful than streaming, but maybe I'm wrong.

The device at the TV is a Roku. I have a Google Chromecast as well, but that became useless when GCN+ went away.

I’m confused about KBK being only in Canada, also, but I’m not sure Discovery+ is the answer. The old GCN didn’t actually have many races without a VPN. I don’t think Discovery is going to be better. So maybe, Flobikes with a VPN is a better (cheaper) option.

Just to be clear, you would put a VPN on your phone or tablet and set it to Canada. Then open the Flosports app on that device and cast it to your TV. If your phone or tablet is on the same Wi-Fi as the TV device, you should see some kind of a symbol on the phone or tablet screen to start the cast.
