PSA: Isadore and This Is Cambridge Flash Sales

Unlike Rapha's "sale," these guys have real discounts.

Isadore is 25% off and TIC is 30% off.

Thought I'd share.

I just found TIC on Instagram the other day. Too bad it was too late to ask for Christmas

I might have to grab a jersey now...

How is the bib sizing for these brands? Thinking about some Isadore bibs

If any of you own Isadore bibs or are getting some, post up your thoughts about them.

I don't need more kit for sure, but I always liked the look of Isadore bibs. The fir looks right and the pads aren't too thick.

I've posted this before, but I own a pair of the Isadore "standard" bibs, which is their lowest priced offering. They're marketed as a mid-weight bib (i.e. might run hot for warmer weather), but I've had no issues when riding at higher temps. On the other end of the temperature spectrum, I've been riding in these with knee warmers down in the 45-50F temperature range. I haven't owned many of the other higher end bibs, but the chamois is fine for me even on longer rides.

FWIW, I was so satisfied with my first pair that I purchased another pair after a crash earlier this year. They do offer crash repair, but seeing as they're based overseas, I elected to simply purchase another pair. Not sure if they would also offer a discount in lieu of repair as I have experienced on some of the other brands (Ornot, Rapha, etc.).

Clean3T told me he wears a size up from his Rapha Core sizing.

I think it'd be horizontal from Castelli? Basing my guess on this comparison chart.

TIC Jersey sizing? Wear large for regular Rapha and xl for pro and Giordana. I'd assume I'd be an xl here too. 42" chest size.

I've used a pair of Isadore standard black bibshorts for several years. They've had quite a lot of use and have held up really well. Always hand washed. I'm an XL in Santini and bought the same in Isadore. The Isadore fit a shade larger than the Santini, but nowhere near enough to go down a size.

I'd buy them again.

For tan line bigots only

The sleeves on the jerseys are very short. Baby doll t-shirt short.

They are standard jersey length, not aero-to-the-elbow length - IME.

Don't know in the bigger sizes, but Rapha Medium Classic bibs fit roughly the same as Isadore Large Mens bibs - maybe a hair more room in the Isadore.

6'3" - a bit over 180lbs at the moment

Respectfully disagree. But it's possible they're so short, and I've seen them in person, due to the small batch production.

^Sleeves were longer in the 80's even.
