Import taxes/duties.

I am looking to purchase a Dogma F10 from the UK. I have ordered lots of components before from Merlin and have never been charged any taxes or duties. For a $3k purchase will I get charged any extra fees when it is delivered?
Thanks

I have every single time. My guess would be Yes. If it's a frame, the duties is 3.9% plus whatever fuel surcharge and handling fees the shipper puts on it. I had $18.06 in fuel and $26.79 handling on a $5213 shipment two weeks ago. BUT, they goofed and listed it at 2.5%. So it should've been more than the $157.12 they charged me.

If it's a complete bike, that's 11%.

If you can, make sure they apply the correct HTS Code to avoid delays and being charged the wrong amount.
Frame over $600 is 8714.91.2000
Complete is 8712.00.1500

NOTE: there are some subsections to check out. You can sometimes sneak them in on those.
