FSA Energy Adventure crankset install question

As I understand it the spindle on this crank is 30mm. Currently my bike is using a screw in Praxis BB and the Praxis Zyante crank that has 30mm spindle. Will the 30mm FSA crank work with the 30mm Praxis BB or does it require an FSA 386 EVO blah blah blah bottom bracket? And another BB tool too? Want to try 46/30.

You shouldn't need any different BB tool but the spindle length on the FSA crank will be longer than the praxis crank. A few different places make outboard "adapters" (which are really just spacers) for the purpose of installing BB386 cranks with shorter BBs. They're cheap - won't hurt to try.

this crank WILL NOT work with the praxis. The praxis BB that goes with the zayante is 30mm to 24mm and the FSA crank you got is 30mm. You need to get a PF bb that is 30mm. Tons available, easton, wheels manufacturing, FSA, rotor, ect.... you just need the right one for your bike, english threaded or PF bb. The FSA crank is 396 evo so you will need spacers which usually come with some BBs.

Praxis decided to go and make a new standard for their own cranks, really kind of infuriating but it is what it is. Good thing is, new BB won't be too much $$$

There is a Zayante version with 30mm spindle.

My research into BSA30 and ITA30 says that with BB30 spacers / wave washer, any of the cranks / BB will work except for the original BB30 (non-PF30) standard because the spindle is too short. Now, all have proprietary tools except the ones that use the normal Shimano cartridge BB tool...

its 30mm to 28mm. Check the instructions on the first link you posted. Pretty sure all praxis cranks are like that. You need praxis BBs.
