beautiful ride in NJ tonight after work. looking forward to the weekend.

got a little too ambitious on the gravel with the road tires though. POP!

these are old wheels, and i think i've now officially killed the front rim. oh well. they had a good run! time for some rebuilding!

best levers on the market right now. silca. all steel with a plastic guard on the back side so you dont scrape your rims. really strong lever.

With 3 kiddos under 7, most my rides start before 5am. It’s nice this time of year when you actually get to see the sunrise. iPhone photo doesn’t do the beauty justice.

I did a recon ride a few days back to check out some trials I hadnt ridden before - beautiful spot in SE RI.
I'm not fully sure it's open to bikes but my policy has been if there arent any signs that say its prohibited I'll give it a go.
I got some stink eye from birders and was chased down by 2 massive Bernese Mountain Dogs. Still managed to find fun but not really what I had in mind.
Some picturesque spots but ultimately kinda cramped and technical for what I was riding.

Just over FOUR inches in the rain gauge from today's storm! After yesterday's long ride, I knew I would need to get out so I left early and got back just as it began to sprinkle.

Was a pleasant enough day for riding in the DC/MD area, but some hint that summer heat is on the way. Took a break at Seneca Schoolhouse in MD.
