tubular wheelset...value?

So, I had a set of wheels built awhile back when I wanted to try tubular tires. Campy Chorus Hubs, Mavic Reflex silver rims, DT Revolution spokes...I think regular DT spokes on drive side....32H.

Anyway, tried them a couple times....pretty nice, but never loved them and always worried about a flat and relying on a spare. They have maybe 100 miles on them?

So, they have been hanging on the wall for past 10+ years (wow, that hurt to type), and am thinking of selling them.

Is there a market for these? What is good asking price? No cassette, maybe with skewers....

Thanks.

If they look real good and as you describe $300+.

Tire could be bad. Check if they hold air. Don't take them off to ship if they are bad. It adds protection when shipping.

I think if you get some open pro rims, you can swap rims. Align the rims and tape the rims together Let the tension out of the spokes slowly and evenly, then transfer to each spoke to new rim. go systematically and if you can't true it, take it to a shop.

^^^The Open Pro isn't a great rim-swap candidate (605 ERD vs 612 for the Reflex Tubs). However, the H+SON TB14 *is* a great rim-swap candidate and will look great with those hubs.

If you like the look of silver Campy hubs with polished silver rims, the Chorus→TB14 will be lovely.

What he said-ERD..BUT, those wheels would be worth the most as hubs alone...and then try yo sell the rims..
