The frame itself, and decals compare favorably with a late 80s Singer racing bike I owned. Also, that was a color used by Singer during that time period. I’ve never seen a straight unicrown fork on a Singer though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Colnago Master Arabesque Frameset 56cm(NOS) n266 - $5,995
Colnago Master Arabesque Frameset (NOS) n266 - $5,995
Collectors Item! Absolutely rare! Colnago Master Arabesque Frame Number 266/500 Absolutely brand new condition (NOS), never ridden This is one of the rarest Colnago frames ever built, combining the Gilco tubing from the Master Piu with the Arabesque lugs in a full chrome finish. This was discovered in a traditional European bike shop where it had been stored and conserved for more than 20 years. Imported from Stuttgart, Germany, it was later assembled as a display bike commemorating the Colnago spirit. Completely brand new in its original manufacture, it has not been repainted, reworked or altered. This is truly one of the finest examples of an unrestored frame you will find. Colnago Frame, Columbus Gilco tubing Colnago Fork 57cm ST / 56cm TT (C-C) Seat Post Diameter: 27.2mm Rear drop outs: 130.0mm Fork Spacing: 100.0mm Threaded fork: 1" Thread: Italian Weight (According to Colnago): - Frame: 2000.0g - Fork: 650.0g This Arabesque is quite unique in that it is complimented with internal cabling routing. Combined with the chrome finish, this is really an exceptional frame. I will not try to elaborate on how rare this frame is. If you are looking at this, then you know what it is. The NOS frames in this special edition are virtually non-existent. This Colnago has not been repainted, reworked or altered. It was assembled in 2007 with the frameset having been in storage more than 20 years and the complete bike was then used as a showroom display only. This beautiful Colnago Arabesque is one of the last remaining gems of cycling history. PLEASE NOTE: In case you may find some minor, hardly visible, signs of storage, please be aware that it is due to the age of this item and corresponds to the normal condition of NOS classic Italian steel frames. This I mention as a matter of fact for NOS frames. This frame is in absolutely excellent condition! This beautiful masterpiece has not been repainted, reworked or altered in any way. The only slight cosmetic flaw is a lifting of the decals. There is some glue residue at the edge of the chainstay protector decal and also a slight haze on the inside of the fork blades at the crown. Apart from that, the frameset is in near perfect condition. Additional Notes: Frameset only Frame saver applied. Slight lifting of decals Minor blemishes (chips on BB at threads) |
