Yeah, I called that one out when they originally listed it at $7,500+shipping or something equally ... ambitious? That said, it's a pretty neat bike.

Put a potts fork on that and it would be perfect.

It was ten speed 7900 and CK Classic (up to 10 speed only) hubs, but still a nice deal.

At that price, why not. Sell off the 7900, install a 7410 crank, trp rrl brake levers, and 7800 downtube shifters/derailleurs.

CRISP Frameset

Haven't seen this posted here yet... and don't know how long it's been on the Bay... but I gave this one a hard look. The short seat tube just means showing more of that glorious Moots post that comes with it. HOWEVER... have a look at those welds?!? That can't be Darren's work... or at least not from the past decade. I've been following him for a while and his stuff has been whipped cream for a long time. Based on that Easton fork, and some of the anodized decals, this could be an older model maybe? Actually not sure how old that fork is... never use Easton, it could be a modern one.

In any case... my dream of owning one of his frames will have to wait a little longer...

I see nothing overly alarming. Perhaps an older one that's been refinished or something, but it doesn't necessarily look *bad* per se.

The only things I question are the anodising, and the calling out of the Ti used - the latter doesn't seem like something Darren would do (although don't take my word as gospel); and the former is what makes me think it may have been refinished recently (I'm not even sure Darren offers anodised colours?).

That Easton fork is reportedly a bit of a noodle - it's an older EC90.

2nd one 60cm https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/bik...124879156.html
Beautiful Super Prestige from 1992 with SLX tubing, the groupset was upgraded in 1999 to full Campagnolo Daytona.

The bike serial number reads 92 58 PA 33

I purchased the bike in Grosseto (Italy) 4 years ago from the original owner. The bike had not been ridden for a while and needed some TLC to get it back to its original form. It was fully disassembled, cleaned, the frame touched up meticulously, frame-saver reapplied. Then carefully rebuilt replacing all the consumables.

Since then it's been ridden a handful of times, 100mi at most.

Geometry
Seat tube c-c 61cm
Top tube c-c- 58.5cm
Head tube c-c 15cm
Drops length 25mm
Serial number reads 92 58 PA 33

Tires: Specialized Roubaix
