Rapha sunglasses- feeedback?

Does anyone have feedback or experience with Rapha sunglasses?

I’ve been wearing Oakleys and like prism lenses but an advertisement for these caught my attention:
https://www.rapha.cc/us/en_US/shop/c...uct/CLA01XXBTG

I’m torn between playing it safe and ordering some custom Oakley glasses or saving some money and trying something new.

I have the old classic rapha glasses, they are super nice. I got them on sale and for the price I got them they were a steal. Made in Italy, really well made, nice looking. I like these new ones, maybe I will wait for a sale though

Their sunglasses are just class. I have the Classic Glasses II and the City Glasses. Both pairs are just a joy to use. These new ones look just as nice. I would also wait for the inevitable sale.

Awesome, Thanks.

I haven’t really paid attention to their sales cycles. How long do you anticipate it will take?

Unsure on the new ones but the old Classic’s were made by Mazzucchelli.

2 pair

Have 2 pair of the "City" (?) I believe - one that has grey lenses, one with rose. Got them on some wicked cheap sale. Love them. They work great and don't look too goofy off the bike either. Lens quality/optics etc. are superb.

I have a pair of the older style city glasses that I had made into regular prescription glasses. I have to say that they look great but perform poorly. The ear pieces are too slippery and don’t stay in place unless you really bend them down. The second problem is that the plastic ear pieces don’t fit that tight so perspiration can “leak” and cause the base metal to rust. YMMV.

I may have trouble waiting for a sale. The green ones are calling my name.
