I’ve ordered a number of things, rims, chains, etc. It has been maybe 2 weeks to get to Ohio, but no problems other than a short wait.

Placed an order on 5/26, arrived yesterday (7/15).
Has been sitting with The Netherlands' postal service for almost 6 weeks.
Quick once it made it to the US.

My guess is that many international shippers don't operate their own fleets of cargo aircraft, but instead buy unused cargo space on passenger aircraft. And since there are very few passenger aircraft flying between the US and Europe currently, the flow of packages from these shippers has slowed to a crawl.

Guess you're right.
Wasn't meant to be a complaint, tough times for everybody; just a heads up for those folks here that are about to order stuff they need rather sooner than later.

That all makes sense. My order was placed on 6/24, and the tracking has shown the package sitting in the "The item is on transport to the country of destination" stage since 6/30. So, unless we are shipping things by boat now, that means for more than 2 weeks its been sitting on a pallet near an airport in the NL waiting to fly over....sigh...oh well. Live and learn, I suppose.

know the OP is about BikeInn. But, someone mentioned Merlin. NEVER EVER do business with Merlin. Would sell my soul to the devil before I order anything from them again. Which I will never do.

They seem to be a flush retailer model thats probably pulling stock from little accounts all over Europe to sell in one marketplace. There are other shops like them for other things but the INN companies seem to have the monopoly on sports related stuff.

I bought an outdoor jacket from them ages ago and it took over a month to arrive but was and is the best price I could find. Seems inter-European logistics are just not as quick as we're used to since there are probably lots of customs checks between all the borders.

My stuff from bikeinn showed up after 2 months. The package smelled like cool ocean air, which makes sense because I’m guessing it floated here from Europe given it took two frikken months.

Going on 6 weeks now for a pair of Assos gloves I ordered from Bikeinn. I ordered some gloves off the Pearl Izumi website in the afternoon and got them the next day...

Ordered PRO Stealth offroad saddle and bar tape June 24th and *finally* arrived today...that included a solid month where it must have sat in NL waiting for a boat or plane to customs in Florida, of all places. What a loooooong strange trip its been...

Oh, and lesson learned.

I agree. I ordered a few things within the last couple months and they always arrive within a week. Same with chainreaction.
