3D Racing Road-e bicycle - $1,500
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/bik...195054413.html
3D Racing Road-e bicycle $1500 For sale, custom 62cm 3D Racing Road-e Scandium aluminum bicycle equipped with Campagnolo Record components. 3D Racing is a custom frame builder located in Durango, Colorado. Chris Herting, the owner of 3D Racing, was the lead frame designer for Yeti Cycles. Please note that the Road-e is not an electric bike. From Road Bike Action Magazine: Although Chris Herting comes from a strong mountain bike background, his 3D road bikes are among the classiest we’ve seen. For six years Chris was the lead frame designer and director of R&D at Yeti Cycles, where he was responsible for designing the national and world championship winning bikes ridden by Juli Furtado and John Tomac. In 1992 Chris started his own bike company in a small shop in Durango, Colorado. What do we think is the coolest thing about Chris? How about the fact that he’s ridden 25 consecutive Solvang Centuries. See also http://www.3dracingbikes.com/3D%20Ra...d%20Bikes.html This bike is a an XL with a 62cm seatpost and 61cm top tube (virtual). The components are included in the pictures. The bike has a few chips in the paint, but otherwise is in great condition with no mechanical or structural problems. Originally this bike would have sold for over $5000. I've got a number of other bikes, so I'm looking to sell off some of the extras. Payment with cash or PayPal only, no cashier’s check or other scams. Local pickup in Sunnyvale.

Not exactly the most paceline canon bike, but seems like excellent paceline spouse bike for the money. Zwift ready with all those data outputs as well. If the better 3/4 wasn’t already sorted, I’d be picking this up myself.

On Bob Hovey's site, he suggests "Italian subcontractors". I know that my late 3V was a Bilatto build--maybe someone knows which subcontractors for the Nuovo Strada?

The same goes for the Gran Corsa and Nuova Strada... they were US bikes, but were never built here. They were built in Italy (again, probably by Billato or Mondonico), imported as bare frames, then numbered, painted and decaled here by Jim Allen. |
