How to tell if I can run tubeless

I have the right tires. GP5000 that specify tubeless. The rim has no holes in the rim bed for spokes. No tape needed. Thats all I know. Dont have issues with punctures but...... what the hell, you never know.

Which rim? Or a generic question?..Early Campag wheels were the no holes in rim variety but weren't tubeless. As were mavic..

right, which rims?

you run road tubeless at high pressure (as opposed to mountain or high volume gravel tires...) - and running tubeless at high pressure without both the rim and tire being designed to do so is a recipe for disaster.

Mavic something or other.
Some research says they are not “UST” and that seems to be necessary for tubeless. My heart is not broken. Tube it is.

Not to mention that without the deep center channel, you may break something trying to get a tire on the rim - be it a tire lever, tire bead, tube (during on the road next to impossible flat repair), rim, finger, fingernail, ask me how I know
