To have this many cases already discussed in a short period of time, and seen Chorus and Record with the same issue, not just a bad batch. That is a design flaw.

This has largely been over for a couple years now. Seems the issue was on early 12 speed stuff. I think it was actually a material issue > metal fatigue.

I buy a lot of Campy from EU and US distributors, fortunately this was a US vendor that easily handled the process. EU would have been much more complicated and involve freight that would likely be prohibitive on a $100 component.

Best source for Campy in US is Velomine. All day, every day…
