Lighter riders may have thought it to ride a bit harsh but generally a nice, solid & secure fork that needed a few more millimeters of tire clearance.
Well, I am not a lightweight these days so that might be a good thing.

What's the max tire clearance on these, 23mm?

Had a legend once...a timeless piece of engineering.

Amazing. At the risk of joining the grumpocracy, that's what a proper bike looks like.

I wasn’t too keen on the paint, preferring red with white but your build is a looker.

I am going to look at it this afternoon. I am leaning on picking this up. I have not had a TI bike and it seems about time!

I am thinking of going period correct with something like 9 speed record. That would be a fun build.

The limiting factor for tire clearance will be the gap from the top of the front tire to the bottom of the fork "crotch". It may accept a 25mm tire that doesn't run tall for that size but it will be tight. I had F1 fork on my CSi and an O2 by Reynolds for Serotta on my Legend. Both were 1" steerers and provided good ride/handling but the O2 had more clearance. I think O2 was similar but maybe not identical to an Ouzo Pro so you might be able to run slightly bigger tires if you found an O2 or Ouzo Pro to replace the F1. I also think a Reynolds Classic for might work because it would be like an Ouzo Pro but have an aluminum steerer vs. the carbon steerer of the Ouzo Pro and O2.

I've got a 2001 Legend Ti 60cm. They're not in picture, but I currently use 25mm Vittoria tubulars with the F1 fork. I've also used 25mm Vittoria clinchers.

I just thought this bears repeating. It’s amazing how many details and refinements Serotta incorporated into a Legend 30(+) years ago.

And it’s funny how 28mm tires are needed to to dull the harshness of those “advancements.” A really supple 25mm tire on a bike like this is still a joy to ride.

A Vello flex 25 might fit in there. Even in the small size the ride of those is great

I pulled the trigger on this one.

It is in fact a 1” threadless. I will have to look for a nice stem.

It is also a pretty low slung bike. It is a 56TT but a smaller 53.5-54CC seat tube and a pretty short head tube. It looks like it will build up pretty racy.

I threw on a seat and bar and the drop for me is probably too much. It would be like a full on race bike which I am probably not needing

I had to try. The frame is in super nice condition. It doesn’t look like it had a lot of use.

How about using a stem with some rise?
