All hail the Wera turbo

My wife was thoughtful enough to give me a gift certificate to KCtool.com for my birthday where I picked up some new stuff. One I have to say I absolutely been blow away by is the Wera Turbo driver. What makes this thing so cool is with a press on the handle butt it turns into a rapid driver, driving in the screw or bolt 4 revolutions with each revolution of the handle. Does not tighten or loosen under torque in this mode but for getting the job done quickly it is awesome.

I'm not following when you say it doesn't tighten or loosen in turbo mode. Do you mean to say that it won't loosen or tighten against resistance in this mode?

Edit: just looked it up and that's what you meant. Cool!

Interesting. I guess it has some sort of gear mechanism in the handle? Is it more satisfying than rolling the long handle of a PB Swiss hex between the thumb and index finger to remove h20 cage bolts with the ball end?

Doesn’t break Bolts or torque bolts in turbo mode.

Yeah, there are lots of them.

Wera hex plus wrenches, Wera torx wrenches, Snap On flex-head ratchets with Wiha impact bits, Abbey Crombie tool, Enduro BB tools, etc etc etc

The rabbit hole goes very deep.

If you buy it as you need it, it doesn't hurt quite so much
