No.
I don't like DWR. It washes off. Assos isn't making a full length pant at the moment. It's a pity because the Trail Short buttonless and zipless waistband is sooo comfy. |

I agree with the DWR thing washing off, but what is the alternative? Isn't all waterproofing coated? Other than ventile, I'm not sure what permanent waterproof and breathable fabrics there are out in the world.
These pants look good and, after the previous thread on winter riding with pants instead of tights, offer another option to my short but growing list. |

I did have Gore full length pants years ago. Waterproof, but a bit crispy and heavy, and not very well shaped. Too heavy below the knee, which created a pulling down effect over my knee caps during the pedal stroke. Sold them off. Last edited by jpw; 10-19-2020 at 12:12 PM. |

Check these out if you are looking for rain pants designed for biking. They are really well thought out and comfortable.

Which pant? I think Shimano has done well with 'some' of the new Pearl Izumi stuff. Launch Trail Pant? Contender... Last edited by charliedid; 10-21-2020 at 05:58 PM. |

Those are cool but I might get more use out of the Patagonia Dirt Roamer as a bit more versatile?
You ride them? Best name either way! |
