Campy Blue Pads on Mavic Exalith rims

I have the Mavic Exalith pads on one bike with Sram Red brakes and just put on a set of blue pads on the Record brakes on another bike and the blue pads are so much better than the Exalith pads. The Exaliths took a week of embarrassing squeaking to bed in. The Campy blues took two braking sessions to get quiet. Modulation is better on the Blues anyway and they are about $15 less than the Exalith pads. Just putting this up for anyone searching.

Perhaps it's because I haven't happened to have ridden them in the rain all that much, but the blue pads with my Campag Shamal Mille wheels (two sets on different bikes) have been simply outstanding--no wear on the coating and incredibly effective stopping and modulation. I'm not surprised they work on other wheels.

I guess this is a touch OT, so carry on. Tim

BTW exalith rims sound different than mille rims even though both are PEO...it's because the milling is concentric on one and radial on the other.

Can you, by any chance, get Campy blue pads that fit Shimano brake calipers?

NM: looks like you can - https://www.amazon.com/Campagnolo-Br.../dp/B00RBKYSV4
