Had to wait for the train yesterday. I almost didn't get this picture between my gloves not registering my touch to the screen, and how fast it goes by (roughly 50-60mph and only 5 or 6 train cars long)

Rode about half of the national trail in south mountain out and back starting on the east side from Pima canyon th. I found this trail very demanding both up and down and feel it now in the shoulders after hitting the bottom of the suspension twice up front on big drops and nearly going over the bars once.

Six weeks to the day, give or take a day, since I broke my collarbone (November 18th). I went out just to see how it feels to ride, expecting to just do a quick scootch around the neighborhood before lunch. Well, it felt great, so I went out and did a climb. 1500 feet of up and down later, I finally had my lunch. The ride was worth getting hungry over.

To pass the six weeks between no-bike-riding injury time and yes-bike-riding time, I did a lot of hiking and also formed an Orthodox congregation of plushies. (We worship Akira Toriyama, but King Slime and Goku are our prophetic conduits to the Lord. Wario is our High Priest.)

My last ride for this year was Friday, beautiful day. Strange December, too warm.
