Mine was originally Mocha with panels. It had a clamp on FD that chewed up the paint after about ten years. I contacted Gita about a re-paint, and they recommended using someone in the US, so I took it to Southwest Frameworks in Dallas. Dave Cheakas stripped the frame and added a stainless FD braze-on before painting it in Gulf Livery. About three years ago, I replaced the Reynolds with a Falz, the fork a Big Leg Emma should have always had.
On a separate note, my steel Argonaut was at Southwest when it burned down. I miss that bike. |

HA, not exactly...Just holding something in your hand, admiring it, worrying about not 'hurting' it or worrying about 'resale' value if ya actually 'use it'...Don't get that with 'tools'. BUT, many buy something just to look at...
BUT beautiful frame, and hope the OP rides the snot out of it..It's what Dario would want...
