Shorter length jerseys?

Greetings Paceline Team!

I have a question for the collective - are you aware of any specific brands of jerseys that tend to have shorter lengths in the back of the jersey? I'm having a hard time finding new jerseys that don't hang down to my rear end when I wear them. I've recently tried both Voler and Pactimo jerseys that have a more race-oriented fit. Both of them hang down way too far in the back. I typically wear a medium to large depending on the brand and fit.

Help a brother out - are there any jersey manufacturers that you're aware of that make jerseys that are shorter in the back? I'd prefer to not hide my finely-honed glutes (more like a back with a crack..) with a long jersey.

Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving Eve!

Texbike

Eliel jerseys seem really short. So short, I can't wear them without bibs or I have skin showing.

Best bet is to try a few on in a bike shop. Some are definitely short, some a bit long, and some just right...until they stretch. The Pactimo Summit jerseys are not too long, and don't stretch a lot. And they are on sale right now.

Same here.
I like these jerseys for that very reason.

If you are wearing CLUB-fit jerseys, in most cases they will fit longer, whereas most RACE-cut jerseys will be a tighter and shorter fit. So moving to RACE cut will be one thing to consider. IME Capo and Castelli garments fit consistently shorter on my longer torso, compared to other jerseys I own, like Rapha, Assos, Etxe-Ondo, La Passione, Attaquer....I wear a medium in all these brands.

The Verge race cut jerseys I have . . .

. . . are universally shorter. Not sure about any other cut from them. I really notice because I usually carry a compact camera in my right rear pocket and I really have to bend up my elbow to get it out of that pocket on the Verge jerseys. Santini jerseys I've had also are the same. I would think anything specifically labeled "race cut" from other makers is going to be the same.

I went to a gathering for a local cycling club, Swami's, and Eliel had a representative there. They make some jerseys with a shorter fit, particularly a shorter front. Here's the fit guide link:

https://www.elielcycling.com/pages/mens-fit-guide

Here's part of what it says: "This fit is cut shorter in the front to minimize zipper rippling while you’re tearing it up on the road and trails."

Great! Thanks for the suggestions. I'll look into these.

I'd also like to find some shorter inseam bibs as well, but it seems that most of them now are cut down to your knees.

Eliel has short length bibs, they are snout 1.5 inches shorter.

Black Bibs make short inseam shorts. All I wear these days; I also hate the modern shorts that come down to my kneecaps.

Thanks for the suggestions! I just sent back a couple of pairs of Pactimo and La Passione bibs due to their longer length. Apparently, my Hobbit-esque physique doesn't play well with modern fit cycling apparel.

Rapha have short-length (i.e. "regular") bibs too.

I have a MAAP race cut jersey, a CyclingTips one, that is very short but not overly so.

If you’re ok with race cut, I’d highly recommend the Pas Normal Studios Mechanism Jersey. The band sits snug at the top of my hips and the pockets are designed to not sag.

Sizing note, I wear a small in most jerseys and am a medium in the PNS mechanism

This - PNS mechanism/solitude are both nice and high. Least-saggy pockets I've used.
