A specific use case but I couldn't get the hiro chuck to work with cushcore valves. Could be user error though.

What was the issue? I find that I sometimes have to fine-tune the preload on the retention ring because every valve is a different diameter and 'grips' differently. What works for one valve can blow off on another.

I found the same actually. The diameter of the cush core valves don't seem to work with the Hiro chuck. Couldn't get a secure fit no matter what, so went back to the standard chuck for my Pista for mtb and keep the Hiro on my Pista Plus.

Glad I'm not the only one, but yes it doesn't create a airtight seal and leaks from the head.

Probably don't qualify as Black Friday sale since it's in Australia. But the helmet that I brought over for the trip is getting old and worn so I thought I would check out what kind of local deal is on offer. Found this POC Ventral Spin on sale, but in limited selection, with US dollars conversion, came out to $80, not too shabby.

Historically, all the Asian consumer-direct wheel brands have pretty good black Friday sales.

Boyd too.

With Sram dropping minimum pricing, expect good deals on Zipp.

Great to know! I’ll hold off on buying new for a couple of weeks.

Black Friday is such a marketing joke now. Sales tagged as Black Friday have been going on since October.

What ever happened to the good old days of people duking it out at Wally World for that door buster TV set??
