The Bicycle Race by Lyonel Feininger caught my eye last week at the National Gallery of Art in DC.

I met Kosuke recently when he came through San Francisco. His ink drawings are stunning.

Do you like Dali?

Seems like it would fit the mcm theme.

these are great. Like them a lot.

I have mostly mcm furnishings and have a few prints from old french cycling ads sprinkled around. I think they mesh nicely. Find this book 100 Years of Bicycle Posters by Jack Rennert, pull out a few pages and frame em. I scanned them all at one point.

Or seek out the originals, but $$$.

Set up a camera, take a ride, and snap your own like this one. Or have a friend snap a shot of the two of you.

Given that you want mid century modern, this probably isn't a good fit, someone might be interested though. I have two custom drawing/watercolors by Taj Mihelich (of BMX / Terrible One / Fairdale bikes fame). Website here.

They're more cartoon-y. Often with animals.
