Anyone watch this special on CBS on easter sunday night?
If you missed it you sure did miss a good show.

I watched about half of it. I thought J-Lo was a poor choice to do the numbers she did, she just didn't have the timbre. Diana Ross OTOH still has the pipes and was terrific. Smokey's facial skin looked like a snare drum and when he sang his lips barely moved. Still, he was pretty good and apparently in terrific shape. There was a lot of talent on stage for sure.

I gave up after 15 minutes. Smokey is a singer, not a host. Overall a pretty weak show that, to me, didn’t really adequately showcase a great American music.
