I use the Liquid Grease for threads....especially at work on bottle bolts cleat bolts etc. Easy as pie and not messy.
Freehub....I use the oil which is excellent IMO |

That's 3 different answers in 3 different posts.
I suppose maybe it doesn't matter much. I guess I'm leaning towards the last Freehub Oil with the red label which sounds like the right thing for the job and is more readily available. How much do I need? It's $14 for 1 ounce or $36 for 4 ounces. |

1oz should be plenty for years and years of freehub servicing. At least it is for the grease I use, can't imagine the liquid is much different. It doesn't take much.

After a good cleaning I have had success with Phil's tenacious oil in my freehubs

One day you will regret using Phil's tenacious oil on your free hubs when your free hub pawls stick and fail to engage. You will end up on your top tube, the ground or with damaged free hub pawls. Tenacious oil is much too viscous for free hub pawls.
