OT: Good Thread - What is the most obscure car you've seen in the wild?

A friend's mom had a Detomaso Mangusta in the garage when I was a kid. I never saw it running. |

My dad bought a workshop/storage building about 10 years ago. He took possession to start doing some work on it before the previous owner got all of his stuff out of it. There was a DeLorean DMC-12 in there that I enjoyed messing around with for an afternoon.

The one in my garage is pretty darn rare if no obscure. At last check this is one of fewer than 5 in the USA of this model.
Westfield Mega S2000. But the local junk yard as a Borgward Isabella if my car won't do. dave |

When I was a kid, a local car dealer has some Bricklin SV-1's on their lot.
Somebody else in my home town often drove around in their Saab Sonnett III: |

On my normal ride route, along the Pinellas Trail, I spotted a car I couldn't identify. Another rider friend lives in the area and stopped and talked to the owner.
1961 Facel Vega Facellia Convertible - original motor replaced with a Ford 302 V8. Not an exotic, but quite rare and not something most people have seen.

TVRs were always an attraction back in my youth. Never owned one, but always wanted one.
Real AC Cobras (not kit cars). I stupidly passed on the opportunity to own a Fiat Dino about 30 years ago when I could have had it cheap! BK

I've seen a couple of these cars in the wild! But you probably can't get parts in a few years....
Fisker Karma EV, nice looking but do you really want one?! |

So, filming commercials in and around my area is an everyday occurrence. What isn't is when they film a commercial of the Tesla Model 3. Yeah, I saw one in the wild driving on my street while a film crew was shooting it doing driving shots.
It's very nice. Not sure I'm ready to own an EV just yet, but it looked really nice in the wild.

Ginetta G4
My high school chem teacher raced a Ginetta G4 in SCCA events and autocross in the 60s and also drove it to school on nice days. Under 1,000 pounds and a souped up Ford twin cam four IIRC. I think four were imported into the US.

Volvo dealership nearby had up to three of those on the parking lot. Never saw another one on the road, tho. Gotta give it to them they look stunning in reality.

Marussia - Exotic for me, likely not so much for a Russian ...
I was in Moscow which had a remarkable amount of exotic sports cars being driven as daily drivers ... This Marussia B1 was in a showroom so Semi-wild although there was one on the street in front of the building ...
It was also interesting, theft is pretty high in Russia so it is popular to paint murals on the vehicles to make the easier to identify and hard to fence. Nto too exotic for a BMW, but pretty interesting paint ... I was hoping to see a '70s GMC panel van with a Molly Hatchet album cover ... |

Not a car but I think pretty cool
I grabbed this image of the web because it shows the scale of the truck. I have lots of pictures of these as my team designs these. They are specialized oilfield trucks and definitely not something you see everyday. But since they are sometimes driven on the road I thought that it might apply..

While cycling the Passo di Giau my wife and I came across a car rally headed the other way and had to stop and watch. The subsequent late afternoon descent was cooooold.
