DT Swiss 240 EXP end cap swapping

I ordered a BTLOS wheelset with DT Swiss 240 EXP hubs with 12x100 front, 12x142 rear thru axle set-up. Will I be able to buy end caps to convert to quick release for 100mm front, 135mm rear if I want to run these wheels on another bike?

I've looked at DT Swiss' web site and they talk about 5mm QR, which I have never heard of.

What do they mean when they call QR end caps 5mm?

That's the diameter of the hole through which the QR skewer goes.

Yes, 5mm is the size of the skewer/through hole. The actual stub axle diameter is typically 9mm front/10mm rear, although a few will be 9.5mm front & rear.
