These past several bikes posted with tan/gum walls makes me regret my decision to go with black sidewalls.

Went with my frame color/setup purely to have tan walls

I was on the hunt for a used Open for over a year. I had one come up last year after contacting a store and asking them if they had any customers who wanted the UPPPER and sell me their UP. Backed out of that as the steerer was cut too short.
This year something fairly local came up on Ebay. Purchased just the frame which did not have one mark on it. Everything else is brand new except for the 700 wheels. Ultegra 2X.
The Handelbar was purchased over a year ago as I knew I would eventually find the frame.
Recently got 650 wheels and will have new carbon 700 wheels soon. Bike is everything I thought it would be.

good idea with asking some LBS if they have customers who want to upgrade!

Why do you want to switch to 700C?

I already have 700c wheels, just getting bling Carbon ones.
Most of my rides involve a fair bit of road or paved trails. Also all of my gravel races you need 700 wheels.
I only use my 650 on technical rides. Will be used for rides in October to December that we do that go into MTB trails.

Here's a bunch of gravel bikes from our weekly gravel ride which is typically between 32-25 miles on Tuesday nights, originating in Northfield, Minnesota.
