Yesterday I dragged the wife out for a 66 mile romp in Pickens County. Next Sat is the Hincapie Fondo, which we have registered for, the medio version. It was cold and drizzly here in SC. She was wearing little cotton socklet thingies and her feet were freezing. Being the "coat over the rainpuddle" gentleman that I am, I gave her my woolies. Here she sits wondering why she got involved with me 29 years ago. Cheers to this woman's courage and tolerance.

^Where is that? I could swear it’s like deja vu from a ride I did long ago when I stayed a couple days in Ashland, OR. Road up Dead Indian road then along this plateau like area by Howard Prairie lake (where it looked like this) over to GreenSprings Inn then had one of the nicest scenic descents I can remember. A great loop.

Outside Sisters, OR along Indian Ford Road, headed to FS 11. Now that I live in Sisters, this is one of my regular road rides (except on the weekends in the summer).

Forecast is 10+ days of sunshine. Great time for kicking around the local trails.

Good on you, Kirk pal. Things are a bit different over here in Texas. Rain, wet, cold, flooding for the rest of the week. Glad I was able to spend some quality time with my Spectrum and ride three days straight before all these came in late Sunday night.

That's the Croton Dam in Croton, NY. Holds back the Croton reservoir, which is part of the NYC water supply. We've had lots of rain lately, so more water than usual coming out. Nice little park at the bottom, road over the top, and also the start of the Old Croton Aquaduct Trail, a mostly off-road trail that goes all the way to NYC.

I love it! and you're picking up awesome rides. "I'm going to sell bikes, I bought a bike, thread to sell a 'few' bikes, then I bought another bike"
