Help with quarq
Hey, I have a hollowgram quarq that recently started acting up. I keep trying new batteries with no avail. Today I was changing the battery and saw the light flickering when I was screwing on the cover. It looks like the battery assembly is kind of loose and makes a connection when I am touching it, but cuts off when I let go. Any ideas how to fix it?
If not, is it worth anything as is? I could just get a spidering and find a different PM if I could get something for this. |

I don't know if Quarq will even service these anymore but it would be worth an email I'd think before chasing down other options.
If you want to keep a spider based PM, power2max NGeco units are fairly inexpensive compared to some others on the market and could be a good replacement if it's completely toast. |

Try tightening the battery contact inside the compartment. It should have a 2mm hex bolt in it.

Beat me to it...this is probably the issue. You may also need to slightly pull the battery contacts up if the batter sits too deep in the compartment. Every time my quarq acts up it's one of those two things.

It was that little star bolt inside. Just a little loose! Thanks again!

Hell yeah! I had a D-Zero that I thought was toast - gave it a twist and bingo.
